Montclair Cavaliers,

Happy New Year and welcome to the start of second semester! We look forward to an exciting and successful term, and I hope that you are ready to begin school with a renewed sense of purpose in pursuing your studies. It is important to start the new semester on the right track, so I encourage everyone to set goals to be diligent in maintaining engagement in every class and in consistently communicating with our teachers.

Some of you may have been or continue to be impacted by COVID-19, and it appears the Omicron variant has spread quickly in our region. Thankfully, typical symptoms seem to be less severe in most cases when compared to previous strains. In any case, students should remain at home if experiencing any COVID-related symptoms or if they are unvaccinated and recently been in close contact with someone who is COVID positive.

As a reminder, school is not in session on the following dates:

January 17th – MLK JR. Day
February 14th – Lincoln’s Day
February 21st – Presidents Day
March 21st - 25th – Spring Break

The winter period is a busy time on our academic calendar. I encourage everyone to utilize the various communication platforms – Canvas, all calls, school website, Twitter, Remind, and others to stay in touch with Montclair announcements and happenings. You can always contact the school office directly for information as well.

Here is to a great 2022!

Your proud principal,

Joshua Cho
