Our daily purpose encompasses our commitment:
"To provide student learning, and ultimately their achievement, of the prescribed curriculum that takes place in the classroom under the direction of the teacher." The Chaffey District supports this daily act. We realize that our efforts uniquely influence the future of our community and of this nation, and we are passionate about doing whatever it takes to prepare students to be successful and contributing citizens of the 21st century.

The Chaffey District has provided a quality education for high school students in the area since 1911. As the District continues to grow and progress, we are poised to meet the challenge of providing the finest quality education possible for every student.

Dear Montclair Students and Families,

We are off to a great start to the school year! The campus is filled with activity and our classrooms are buzzing with energy, with students and their teachers engaging in high quality teaching and learning. We are so excited about our full return to school. Please keep in mind that we are following all health and safety guidelines as recommended by the CDPH and county health departments, and we will continue to communicate updates as the school year progresses.

Cavs, I encourage you to get involved. Making connections is such an important component of your overall experience at Montclair High School. There are a variety of support systems available to help with your academic and personal needs. Please be sure to reach out to your teachers, administrators, and other support staff for assistance.

Parents, I invite you to join our first Coffee with the Principal on August 24, 2021. These regular meetings will allow you the opportunity to stay informed with all the activities at our school. At Montclair, we also have multiple parent resources services available, such as ELAC, Purposeful Parenting Groups, College Prep Parent Academy, Conversations with DJ, CHEW Community Partnerships, and others.

The state of California has implemented a new school accountability system called The California Dashboard. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was suspended last year, but it will be active for the 2021-22 school year. We are aware that our data may be impacted by the challenges students have faced this past year. But we will review this information, look at our strengths, and evaluate our areas of growth so that we may move forward. For more information, you can visit the CA Dashboard.

At Montclair High School, we are committed to ensuring that all students graduate ready for college and careers. We will provide our students with a comprehensive array of college preparatory courses and career-oriented pathways as well as offer multiple extended learning opportunities in remediation and in enrichment. It is full steam ahead for the Cavaliers!
