Welcome to the Office of Achievement

In the Office of Achievement we strive to build healthy relationships with all our stakeholders. We promote student achievement for all learners, through academic support and career exploration. We school wide goal is to help increase the A-G rate, decrease freshmen failure rate, and increase graduation rate.

At Montclair High School we offer our students with multiple resources and tools to achieve and succeed in their academic and career goals through our MAST (Montclair After School Tutoring) before and after school program, our CAP (Cavalier Achievement Program (Saturday School,  credit recovery classes during the school day and after school, mentors that are hired to work specifically with our freshman in all English, Biology and IM I classes, our nationally distinguished AVID program, and Read 180 classes. We work closely with our guidance team to support our students and foster open communication for both students and parents.

As the Assistant Principal overseeing the Office of Achievement, we are focused on establishing, building, and maintaining relationships and partnership with our parents. We create, schedule, promote and manage all our FACE (Family and Community Engagement) opportunities throughout the school year.  As a component of our FACE opportunities, we also have partnered with organizations that provide services including community outreach and mental health services and counseling to our families

It is important to us that we are increasing awareness of the importance and value of graduating " A-G".  We begin our conversations with our students while they are still in junior high as we have established productive and successful partnerships with our feeder schools. Everyone at Montclair High School, inclusively—administrators, counselors, teachers, support staff, parents, and community partners collaborate together to drive student achievement so that every student in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District will become college and/or career ready by graduation.

I look forward to meeting and working with you all of you!
